A smaller version of the Large Prairie, this area sits on the north side of the estate. Whilst it receives less sun, the quality of its soil is far superior, lending itself to a proliferation of grass species and several patches of Lobelia urens.

A walnut avenue planted here in 2007 connects the drive with the Tall Trees Wood.
