Meadows

This is an expanse of unimproved pasture where our sheep graze. It's also where we cut our best hay in the summer and gather mushrooms in the autumn. Autumn Lady's Tresses (Spiranthes spiralis) can often be found growing in abundance here. Small patches of orchids and cowslips also pop up here and there, with butterflies and moths making the most of this field in the summer months.
